Embeds: show the Current version anywhere
Paste a VersoDocs share link into Notion, Confluence, Slack or any tool that reads oEmbed, or paste the embed code into any page that accepts an iframe. A live embed always shows the Current approved version: publish a new version and every embed updates.

Embed a document
- Open the document → Share → create a public link (read-only).
- Click Copy embed code and paste it where you want the document to appear, or paste the share link itself into a tool that unfurls links.
<iframe src="https://versodocs.com/embed/<share-token>" width="800" height="600" loading="lazy"></iframe>- Live or pinned: a share link created from the document embeds the Current version, always. A link shared from a specific version embeds that version, with a note when a newer one is approved.
- Only shared docs: embeds work for public share links only. Revoke the link (or let it expire) and every embed stops showing the document.
- Read-only: no comments, no editing; Open in VersoDocs opens the share page in a new tab.
