Email in: turn emails into draft documents
Each workspace can have a private address like k3x9…@in.versodocs.com. Forward a requirements thread, a vendor policy or meeting notes to it: VersoDocs creates a draft for you, and replies with the link. Nothing is published or sent for review until you do it.

Turn it on
- A workspace admin opens Settings → Workspaces → <workspace> → Email in and clicks Turn on email in.
- Copy the address and share it with the team (or save it as a contact).
- New address replaces it if it leaks: the old one stops working immediately.
What happens to an email
- Who can send: members with edit rights in the workspace, from the email address of their VersoDocs account. The sender must pass SPF, DKIM or DMARC checks; spoofed or unauthenticated mail is refused.
- The email becomes one draft: the subject (without Fwd: / Re:) is the title, the body is converted to formatted text. Remote images are dropped.
- Attachments: Word (.docx), Markdown (.md, .txt) and HTML files each become their own draft. On Team and Pro, other allowed files (PDF, spreadsheets, images…) are attached to the email's draft. Anything else is listed in the reply.
- Reply: you get an email with links to the new drafts, or the reason nothing was imported.
- Auto-replies, mailing lists and bounces are ignored.
